The five-day celebrations is a grand affair for people, who start preparing for the festival at the onset of the autumn season. The festivities start with Dhanteras on the first day and end with Bhai Dooj on the fifth. On the third day, that is, Diwali, the entire country lights up with lights, diyas, crackers and happiness.
On Diwali, people clean and furnish their houses and decorate them with rangolis, diyas and bright lights. They exchange gifts and sweets with their relatives, friends and loved ones, and worship Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and wealth, and Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.
This Diwali, wish your loved ones, far and close, a very happy and blessed Diwali with these messages and greetings.
*IT’S THE DAY TO LIGHT THE DIYAS,
IGNITE THE ROCKETS AND BURST CRACKERS,
BUT IT’S ALSO THE TIME TO BE SAFE,
FROM THE FIREWORKS AND ALL THE SPARKLERS.

*IT’S THE OCCASION TO THRONG THE TEMPLES,
PRAY TO THE GODS AND GIVE THEM OFFERINGS,
IT’S AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENTREAT THE DEITIES,
TO BLESS US ALL AND RID US OF SUFFERINGS
*With gleam of Diyas
And the Echo of the Chants
May Happiness and Contentment Fill Your life
Wishing you a very happy and prosperous Diwali!
